Training guidance on how to create a content page with a left hand navigation.
- Create a new document using the "add content page" form available under content > add content > content page.
- Fill in the following mandatory sections "Title", "IA structure", and "Components".
- Within the "Components" section of the form there is a drop down called "Layout", change this to "Left hand navigation".
- The Left hand navigation template is setup similar to how an accordion component works, the navigation items are split into sections and each new section allows you to create it's own heading for the navigation item and a number of components to build up the content.
- The Left hand navigation template is restricted to the following components:
- Document links - for detail on how to create or add existing documents see the training guidance on the document download content type.
- Horizonal content border - to help break up the page
- Launcher button
- Text editor - standard WYSIWYG component
- Accordion
